Frequently Asked Questions and Answers:

  1. What will WMH do if problems are discovered during a routine visit -like a broken window, leaking pipe, suspected burglary, no lawn service, or the pool is green?
    Police are contacted immediately for burglaries and any suspicious damage or circumstances. We will make every effort to prevent any more damage to the home. Homeowners will be notified via phone or email, and further choices will be their responsibility. We will help, if requested. If we cannot contact the homeowners, we will initiate prudent decisions to protect the property and repair, as required. Homeowners will be responsible for all bills and for the time required by the Watch My Home staff. Service providers like pool and lawn service will be called if they are not fulfilling their contract, as presented to us in the client questionnaire.

  2. May I extend my contract after it is signed? May I cancel my contract after it is signed?
    You may extend your contract by contacting us and paying the additional fee. You may cancel your contract after it is signed and paid but no refunds will be given. However, we will entertain extenuating circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

  3. What do you do on a visit?
    We provide a comprehensive check of the interior and exterior, flush toilets, run water, monitor thermostats, check windows and doors, lawn care, pool care and general well-being of home.

  4. Are my keys stored in a safe place and is my personal information and alarm code secure?
    We have initiated specific security controls on all your items. We do not want to comment more on how this is accomplished.

  5. How do I pay for the service?
    We accept checks, money orders, or PayPal..

  6. How will I provide you with all the information on my home?
    We will provide you with a questionnaire for completion, and will visit your home prior to your first contract.

  7. What is the purpose of your Partners?
    We have chosen dependable, tested, and trusted service people that will respond immediately to the needs of our clients. If requested, we will have your home cleaned prior to your arrival home. This, of course, will incur an extra fee.

  8. Are your employees located in St. George or does someone control this service from afar, like some alarm companies?
    We all live in this community and want to provide the best we can for our neighbors. We are bonded and insured; a background check is also a criterion for employment.

  9. Are you available for a presentation to a group of homeowners or HOA?
    Yes.

  10. If I coordinate a group of people in a neighborhood to participate in the service for the same contractual period, could we get a discount on visit costs?
    It is negotiable.
